News: Two SEPs are now open to qualifying Medicare beneficiaries in North Carolina!

The first SEP is for the COVID-19 Pandemic and Public Health Emergency and applies to the entire state. It was introduced on January 1, 2021 and has no end date at this time. The second SEP is due to a winter storm on February 17 to March 19, 2021 and the enrollment period will last from February 17 to May 31, 2021.

Beneficiaries are eligible for this SEP if they live (or lived) in an area that a state or local government entity declared a disaster or emergency, or rely on someone who does, AND were eligible for another election period during the SEP AND did not make an election during that election period due to the emergency or disaster.
