An article published by LifeHealthPro announces that in 2016, carriers will be offering more Medicare Advantage plans in 2016, and a few more $0 Premium Plans. CMS posted the final 2016 Private Medicare Plan Summary information in big, compressed data files.

The files list Medicare Advantage Plans, Medicare Part D prescription drug plans, Medicare Special Needs Plans (SNPs) and Medicare-Medicaid Plans–and disclose what carriers offer to Medicare Plan enrollees during the 2016 OEP, which begins October 15th and ends on December 7th, 2015.

CMS says that 95% of Medicare enrollees will have access to a Medicare Advantage plan with a monthly premium of $0.
